What options do we have if we end up needing to defend our bodies from the ground? This class will begin with how to fall safely and progress into moving and deploying physical defense skills if for some reason we are not able to get up right away. We’ll sequence the course to walk participants through the basics of defending, creating space, and safely getting up and away from an attacker. Imagining being on the ground can be really scary, by we have some quick tools and tactics to help you build confidence and even have a bit of fun as we work through this challenging scenario.
All of our classes are FREE, drop-in style with no registration, suitable for youth 10+ (please plan to participate if your youth is under the age of 14), and those with physical limitations.
